Capfit (Bundle ID: com.capfit.wardrobe) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.
Capfit is a personal, on-device tool: no social feed, no ads, and we do not sell your personal information.
Your hat library, wear logs, outfit notes, and preferences (including an optional face-shape style preference) are stored locally on your device by default. We do not upload this data to our servers.
Capfit offers an optional Face match styling tip feature. This section explains how face-related information is handled.
If you use Face match, you may manually select a face-shape category (for example oval, round, square, long, or heart). Capfit does not take or analyze face photos, does not use the camera for facial scanning, and does not collect facial biometrics, Face ID data, depth maps, face templates, or identity-verification scans. We do not create a biometric identifier from your face.
The self-selected face-shape preference is used only to recommend hats from your local wardrobe based on common styling guidance (with an optional hair-type preference). It is not used for authentication, advertising, profiling across apps, or identity verification.
This preference is not shared with any third parties. It is stored only locally on your device with your other app preferences. Capfit does not upload face photos (none are collected) or face-shape preferences to Capfit servers.
The face-shape preference label is retained locally until you change it, clear it, use Delete Account in the app, or uninstall Capfit. Uninstalling the app removes this local data.
Camera, microphone, photo library, and notification permissions are requested only when you use the related feature (for example adding hat photos or logging outfits). Camera and photos are used for hats and outfits only — not for Face match. The system permission dialog describes each use. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings.
In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Payment information is handled by Apple; we do not collect your card details. Face-related preferences are not provided to Apple or any other third party through Capfit.
You can delete all local data from the app using Delete Account, including any stored face-shape preference. Uninstalling the app also removes local data.
Capfit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
